Finally! Nigeria’s Auto Queen, Adesuwa Ogiozee Vindicated!

Adesuwa Renee Ogiozee, the US-based Nigerian prominent auto dealer is a happy woman right now. After months of nerve-breaking trial filled with humiliation, tension and reputational damage, Ogiozee of Rene Auto fame can finally breathe a sigh of relief. According to a letter from Frank, Juengel & Radefeld and signed by Matthew A. Radefeld, the prosecutor has dismissed the federal charges in New Mexico against Ogiozee. Also included in the letter is a copy of the Motion to Dismiss.

The cheering news is coming after months of back and forth between Ogiozee and US authorities over allegations bordering on conspiracy, wire fraud and aiding and abetting. Ogiozee, who has carved a niche for herself as one of the biggest African female auto dealer in the US was wrongly fingered in a wire fraud involving one of her customers. According to sources, Ogiozee unknowingly sold a car to a customer who used proceeds from a romance scam to purchase the vehicle. During the investigations by the US authorities to unravel the fraudsters behind the wire fraud, the transaction was traced to Ogiozee was only doing her legitimate business. That singular business transaction landed Ogiozee in trouble. She suffered greatly for a crime she knew nothing about. Her business came under serious scrutiny. And her reputation was dragged in the mud.

But in the words of late prophet T.B, “No matter how fast a lie runs, the truth will someday overtake it”. Finally, Ogiozee has cleared all doubts about her involvement in the wire scam. And all the false charges against her thrown away by the prosecutor. Ogiozee has regained her freedom. And she’s set to reclaim her position as the biggest female African auto dealer in America and across the world.
