It is becoming clearer day by day that Senator Adeola Yayi is the man destined to break the givernorship jinx of Ogun West, being the only senatorial district in Ogun State yet to produce a governor since the creation of the gateway state. Using the Ogun West Senatorial Platform as a dress rehearsal for his presidential ambition. Senator Adeola Yayi has shown within a short period of time of being in the saddle as Ogun West Senator that he’s up to the task at the highest level of governance in the Nigerian political landscape.

Known for his commendable legislative strides right from his days as Senator representing Lagos West, Senator Adeola came on stream with a clear mission of taking Ogun West District from the backwaters of Ogun politics to the front seat. He has lived up to our expectations. With back-to-back projects facilitated by him littered across Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Adeola Yayi has warmed his way into the hearts of constituents. Not only that, his political profile has continued to be on the upward curve. And the general consensus among the people is that the next stop for Senator Adeola is Oke-Mosan, the seat of power in Ogun State. Senator Adeola made history as the first Senator from Ogun West Senatorial District to carry out what’s described as the biggest empowerment initiative by a Senator in the history of the Senatorial District. The empowerment initiative, which was widely reported by the media, covered all the government areas of Ogun West Senatorial District, leaving no constituency behind. The first-of-its-kind empowerment, a town hall meeting, was organised by Senator Adeola to interact with his people on a one-on-one basis and, more ultimately, to bring them up to speed about his developmental programmes for Ogun West. In a bid to lift his constituents out of poverty permanently, Senator Adeola provided working tools for them—a move aimed at the betterment of communities in his Senatorial District. Senator Adeola Yayi distributed thousands of pieces of entrepreneurial equipment, including cassava milling machines, vulcanizing machines, agricultural seedlings, leatherwork equipment, hairdressing equipment, deep freezers, mini buses, tricycles, and other working tools, to over 15,000 constituents. The biggest mega-empowerment ever initiated by any Ogun senator. And as if that wasn’t enough, Senator Adeola also extended his outreach to government institutions, such as police, hospitals, the NSCDC, and farmer cooperatives. Other significant items donated by Senator Adeola Yayi included brand new ambulances, tractors, medical equipment, transformers, police vans, confectionery equipment, and drug catches for hospitals. Not only that, Senator Adeola has facilitated and completed projects including roads, the establishment of tertiary institutions, and the provision of scholarship schemes for brilliant Ogun West students across government-owned tertiary institutions. Senator Adeola Yayi has restored hope to thousands of people in his senatorial district, both residents and indigenes. Certainly, he’s the man to beat in the 2027 governor race in Ogun State.
