Mary Dinah Foundation Partners with UNICEF on Generation Unlimited Initiative to Empower 20 Million Youths

The Mary Dinah Foundation is thrilled to announce its partnership with UNICEF on the Generation Unlimited Initiative. This multi-sectoral platform is set to empower 20 million youths aged 10-24 by equipping them with the critical skills and opportunities necessary to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world. The platform provides access to digital learning and skill acquisition programs, while also creating pathways to meaningful employment through a variety of opportunities, including internships and volunteering. This comprehensive approach ensures not only workplace readiness but also long-term success for the next generation.

As part of this initiative, the Mary Dinah Foundation will prioritize reaching vulnerable children and young people residing in orphanages, youth centers, juvenile homes, and refugee camps. By providing essential skills training and opportunities, the Foundation aims to empower these individuals to build productive and fulfilling lives, creating a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Established in 2006, Mary Dinah Foundation is the largest NGO in the world preventing malnutrition through the distribution of dietary foods in local communities and conflict areas. The Foundation’s work extends beyond food distribution to encompass critical initiatives in education, employability, mental health, maternal and infant nutrition, gender-based violence, and marine and ocean conservation. With programs spanning Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Ghana, Liberia, and the UK, the Foundation is committed to creating impactful change.

Mary Dinah Foundation is proud to join an esteemed network of partners, including Microsoft, PwC, Unilever, Tony Elumelu Foundation, Airtel, and IKEA Foundation, in a collective mission to empower the next generation, fostering thriving societies and sustainable economies. The Foundation looks forward to the positive impact this collaboration will bring and is excited about the future possibilities for the youths it aims to support.
