Ogun West Senator, Solomon Adeola Yayi, Dazzles Constituents With Mega Empowerment

In less than a year of being elected as Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, better known as Yayi, is already walking his way to historic reckoning as the best Senator to ever emerge from Ogun West. Known for his impressive track record of effective representation right from his days in Lagos State politics, Senator Adeola Yayi has continued from where he stopped in Lagos politics. He has brought his magic wand to Ogun West. And the people of Ogun West are in for a special treat. Even before his landslide triumph in the 2023 Ogun West Senatorial Poll, Senator Adeola has always been at the forefront of philanthropic ventures in Ogun West. The ranking senator has now taken empowerment to the next level in Ogun State political history. And this is no media hype.

In what has been described as the biggest empowerment initiative by any Ogun politician in recent history, Senator Adeola stormed his senatorial district with a trailer load of goodies during his first town hall meeting held in his senatorial district a few days ago. Best known for his philanthropic heart, Senator Adeola, in a move to interact directly with his people, organised the first-of-its-kind town hall meeting and mega empowerment initiative. The meeting was designed to keep his constituents up-to-date on his programmes for the senatorial district. And more importantly, the meeting also provided a platform for his constituents to air their views about the challenges confronting the Senatorial District. The highlight of the well-attended mega-empowerment was the distribution of thousands of entrepreneurial items, including tricycles, minibuses (Korope), agricultural seedlings, leatherwork equipment, sewing machines, vulcanizing machines, cassava milling machines, hairdressing equipment, a deep freezer, and so much more, to over 15,000 constituents. Not only that, government institutions like police, hospitals, the NSCDC, and farmer cooperatives were not left out of the empowerment initiative. Ambulances, Transformers, Agricultural Tractors, Medical Equipment, Police Vans, Drug Caches for Hospitals, Confectionery Equipment, and Mathematics and English textbooks were also donated by Senator Adeola Yayi.

The mega-empowerment, which had several dignitaries in attendance, including the Deputy Senate President, His Excellency, Senator Barau Jubrin, Senator Sunday Karimi, Senator Salisu Afolabi Shuabi, Senator Yunus Akintunde, Senator Nwokocha, and Senator Kola Bajomo, has continued to dominate discussions in Ogun political circuits. It is another indication of Senator Adeola’s commitment to raising the bar of effective representation in Ogun politics.
