Romaric Boco, one of Africa’s renowned show promoters, is on top of his game right now. The popular France-based show promoter etched his name into his history book last month when he literally shut down the city of Paris with his One Benin Fiesta mega concert. Hailed as one of the best musical concerts in recent years, Boco descended on the city of France accompanied by some of Africa’s finest in the entertainment industry. The highly successful mega concert featured Small Doctor, the headline artist and some other exciting talents from Africa. Notable highlights from the mega concert include the impressive turnout of African residents. And what a night it was. The performing artists raised the roof with their electrifying performances, which kept the audience vibing non-stop all through the night. And that’s not all; the One Benin Fiesta is much more than just a concert. It’s a platform for charity. According to the organizers, proceeds from the concert are used to fund a charity initiative known as One Benin Zero Poverty project, a charity initiative championing youth empowerment and, more importantly, the fight against illegal immigrants of young people in West Africa.
The reward for hard work, they say, is more work. And that’s why Boco has been given a new assignment. This time, the Ipada carnival is scheduled to be held in France. In collaboration with Akinboboye, the owner of La Campagne Tropicana, Boco will be hosting an exciting team of top Nigerian artists in France. According to available information, October 26th has been slated for Raymond Fix/Afrobeats Night Live in France, while November 23rd is the scheduled date for the Ipada Carnival Show in France, proudly supported by President Bola Tinubu. In addition, Boco will be wrapping up the year in style with Joel El Kennis Live in France, scheduled to be held in December 2024. No doubt, the last three months of the year 2024 promise to be exciting for Africans living in France. Boco has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. His company is one of the few African show promotion companies licensed by the French government to operate in France. For years, Boco has built a pleasant relationship with the French embassy in Nigeria. Boco commended the French for being a worthy partner in progress and pledged always to support his host country through his entrepreneurial strides.
