The Honourable Olumide Osoba, a third-term member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, is passionate about his job. The spirit of mediocrity dominating most Nigerian politicians seems unable to get a grip on Hon. Olumide. What’s the secret of Hon. Osoba’s impressive representation at the green chamber? The simple answer is putting the people first above selfish gains. Described as a serious-minded person. Hon. Osoba has taken his seriousness and competence to the next level. For the easygoing politician, serving his people has always been a calling. Over the years, Hon. Not the type to brag about his giant strides, the people’s representative, hon. Osoba, speaks less and does more. In addition, he’s on top of his game. Now in his third term, he has continued to display the maturity and wisdom of a veteran politician.
A compendium of some of his achievements across the length and breadth of Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi-Owode Federal Constituency revealed that Hon. Osoba, the hardworking lawmaker, facilitated hundreds of projects and consolidated on the gains he recorded in his first two terms. For instance, hon. Not only that, hon. Osoba also renovated St. Luke’s Anglican primary school in Lawal and installed six panels of solar-powered borehole water within the school premises for the use of the pupils. The lawmaker’s arm of representation spread to Ikija Market, where he built new market stalls complete with borehole water for the use of Ikija Market traders. He replicated the same project at Ogidan-Geleodun road in Obafemi-Owode Local Area, while a brand new 500/33 KVA transformer was installed at Oba Eerin town, also under Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area. Another 300/11KVA transformer was installed at the Ijele-Elelede community in Pakuro. Hon. Osoba also completed a modern block of classrooms at both UAMC primary school and Community primary in Olomore, Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
Aside from ensuring an evenly distribution of projects across the local government areas in his constituency, Hon.
